During Your Appointment
Our office uses cutting edge technology for your health and safety as well as convenience in making dental visits more relaxing and efficient. Tools and techniques are top of the line in order to make your visit the best in the field. The first step towards oral health is a comprehensive dental exam and professional cleaning of your teeth. Your first encounter will be with our hygienist. Teeth will be checked and gums will be measured. This process identifies any obvious problems. Digital X-rays provide even more information about the condition of your teeth. Once the initial exam is complete, your teeth will be cleaned. After the cleaning, the dentist will check your teeth again, referring to the preliminary information, and explain the findings to you. You will also receive an oral cancer screening. This simple, painless procedure takes only a few minutes, but it could save your life.
When your comprehensive exam is concluded, you can ask any questions you may have about the exam or suggested treatments. We want to make sure our patients are fully informed and have an understanding of any future work that may need to be done.
